The VIBes in Bioscience PhDconference is an initiative from the Flanders Institute for Biotechnology (VIB) that takes place on 27-29 September 2017 in Gent, Belgium. The organizing committee consists of motivated VIB PhD students, who bring together young and ambitious scientists from all over the globe to enjoy a series of training workshops and a top-quality conference. Selected speakers are renowned in different Life Sciences research fields such as inflammation & immunology, plant biology, cancer biology, structural biology, neuroscience and microbiology. During the workshops, participants can learn all the tips and tricks on research managing, career planning, scientific image editing and many more. There is plenty opportunity for networking during the beer tasting, conference dinner and party. The event is open to non-VIB PhD students!
